The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline, also known as the Trans-Afghanistan pipeline, is a natural gas pipe developed by Galkynysh – TAPI Pipeline Company Limited with the participation of the Asian Development Bank.
It is a line. The pipeline transports natural gas from the Garkinish gas field in Turkmenistan via Afghanistan to Pakistan and then to India.
Construction of the project will begin in Turkmenistan on December 13, 2015,
work on the Afghanistan section will begin in February 2018, and work on the Pakistan section will begin in December 2018.
