Explanation

• The Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) pipeline, also known as the Trans-Afghanistan pipeline, is a natural gas pipe developed by  Galkynysh – TAPI Pipeline Company Limited with the participation of the Asian Development Bank.
  
• It is a line.  The pipeline transports natural gas from the Garkinish gas field in Turkmenistan via Afghanistan to Pakistan and then to India. 
• Construction of the project will begin in Turkmenistan on  December 13, 2015, 
• work on the Afghanistan section will begin in February 2018, and work on the Pakistan section will begin in December 2018.
