A is twice as good as workman as B and together they finish a piece of work in 18 days. In how many days will B alone finish the work?
Answer: 54 days
Explanation
Let: B= x and A= 2x
(A+B) 18 days work = 1
(A + B) one day work= 1/18
So:
x + 2x =1/18
⇒ x = 1/54
So A=27 and B= 54
