Al-Baqarah (The Cow or The Heifer) is the second and longest chapter of the Quran, with 286 verses.

It derives its name from the story of the cow (vv. 67-73).

Verse 282, the longest verse, is known as 'āyatu d-dayn.

Palestine is the land of prophets.

Many prophets were born & died in Palestine including: 

• Ibrahim
• Lut
• Dawood
• Suleiman
•  Musa alayhimu-salam
• Zakariya,
• Yahya,
• Isa

Baitul-Maqdis in Palestine was the first Qibla.

Muslims prayed to face Baitul-Maqdis for around 14 years

after which Allah ordered the Qibla to be changed towards the Kaabah in 2nd Hijri.

 Holy Prophet Mohammad (P.B.U.H.) called Hazrat Shoaib “Khateeb-ul-Ambia”
