Sir Philip Sidney was an English poet, courtier, scholar and soldier who is remembered as one of the most prominent figures of the Elizabethan age. His works include Astrophel and Stella, The Defence of Poesy and The Countess of Pembroke's Arcadia.
Abu ʿIsa Muḥammad ibn ʿIsa as-Sulami aḍ-Ḍarīr al-Bughī at-Tirmidhī, often referred to as Imām al-Termezī, was a Persian Islamic scholar, and collector of hadith from Termez. He wrote al-Jami` as-Sahih, one of the six canonical hadith compilations in Sunni Islam.
