Explanation
Establishment of MAO (Muhammadan Anglo-Oriental) High School in 1875,
which was inaugurated by William Muir.
Sir Syed Ahmad Khan wanted to upgrade (1920) its level to a college, and to attain this end, he speeded up fund-raising.
