Explanation

Ghulam Muhammad Barrage is also known as Kotri Barrage.

It was inaugurated by the third governor general of Pakistan General Ghulam Muhammad Malik.

 The barrage was completed in 1955.

It is used to control water flow in the Indus for irrigation and flood control purposes.
