Explanation

The Prime Minister of Pakistan is the Chairman of the Council of Common Interests (CCI).

The CCI is a constitutional body established under Article 153 of the 1973 Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

The CCI's other members are:

• The four Provincial Chief Ministers
• Three members nominated by the Prime Minister, usually Cabinet members
