Answer: 1176

Given,

70% of students are boys.

Then, 30% of students are girls.

( Because the total will be 100%)

We know that, number of girls is 504.

Let the total number of students be x.

Then, 30% of x = 504.

So, 30/100 * x = 504

So, x = 504 * 100/30

So, x = 1680 students

Then, the number of boys is 1680 - 504 = 1176

Therefore, there are 1176 boys in the school.
