In cage, there are pigeons and rabbits. They have 20 heads and 48 feet, How rabbits are there?
Answer: 4 Rabbits
Explanation
Let the total number of rabbits = x
Let the total number of pigeons = y
total number of head = 20
x + y = 20 eq (1)
total number of feet = 48
4x +2y = 48
2x + y = 24 eq (2)
Subtracting equation (2) from eq (1)
2x + y -x - y = 24 -20
x = 4
