Explanation

• Sindh was annexed to the Bombay Presidency in 1843.
• It became a province of British India on 1 April 1936 with Karachi as its capital until 1947.
• After the partition of British India, Sindh became part of the Dominion of Pakistan from 14 August 1947 to 14 October 1955, with Hyderabad as its capital.
• Bombay was separated from Sindh in 1936 under the Indian Act of 1935, following demands by Jinnah in 1929.
