Explanation

Paternity leave is granted for a maximum of 30 days outside of an employee's leave account.

This leave is fully paid.

In the Pakistan National Assembly's Maternity and Paternity Leave Act, this leave is specified as not exceeding 30 days, with the exception of cases where it's granted within the employee's existing leave account or as extraordinary leave without pay.

The leave is also limited to three times during an employee's entire service.
