Explanation

 The full form of RDX is Royal Demolition Explosive.

It was first reported in 1898 by Georg Friedrich Henning

who obtained a German patent for its manufacturing by nitrolysis or hexamine.

It is also known as cyclonite or hexogen.

The chemical name for RDX is 1,3,5-trinitro-1,3,5-triazine.
