Explanation

 The trochophore larva is a characteristic larval stage found in several marine invertebrates.

Most notably within the phyla Annelida (segmented worms) and Mollusca (mollusks).

It is also present in other groups within the superphylum Lophotrochozoa, including entoprocts, nemerteans, echiurans, and sipunculans.
