Hazrat Ikrimah R.A was the son of Abu Jehal.

He was a prominent leader of the Quraysh tribe who opposed Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

After initially opposing Islam, Ikrimah later embraced the faith and became a companion of the Prophet (PBUH).
