Inner Solar System:

Includes the four rocky planets:

Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars

These are closer to the Sun, have solid surfaces, and are also called terrestrial planets.

Outer Solar System:

Includes the gas giants and ice giants:

Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune

These planets are larger, farther from the Sun, and composed mostly of gas or ice.

So, Jupiter is not part of the inner solar system.
