Explanation

The smallest planet in terms of mass and volume is Mercury. With a diameter of 4,879 km  and 3.3010 x 1023 kg, this small world weighs about one-twentieth the mass of the Earth and  is about one-2.5th the diameter. In fact, Mercury is closer  to our moon than  Earth.
