Explanation

• Holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) performed an absentee funeral prayer (Ṣalāt al-Ġāʾib) for Najashi, the king of Abyssinia, after his death in 630 CE.
• This was a sign of respect and recognition of Najashi's kindness and support for the Muslim emigrants who sought refuge in his kingdom.
