The Caspian Sea is the world's largest inland water body.

It bordering five countries: Russia, Iran, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Turkmenistan.

It has a surface area of approximately 371,000 square kilometers (143,200 square miles) and a volume of around 78,200 cubic kilometers (18,800 cubic miles).
