Hazrat Aliؓ was attacked with a poisoned sword before the time of FAJAR prayers to the mosque of Kufaؓ On 19th Ramazan 40th Hijri.

Hazrat Aliؓ died on the 21st Ramadan 40 H. and buried in Najaf al-Ashraf Iraq.
