Explanation

The river often referred to as the "Father of Ocean" is the Amazon River.

It is the largest river by discharge volume of water in the world and is responsible for about 20% of the Earth's freshwater discharge into the Atlantic Ocean.

The immense volume of water it carries into the ocean earns it the nickname "The River Sea."
