India's conglomerate Adani Group founder and chairman Gautam Adani surpassed Mukesh Ambani of Reliance Industries Ltd to become the richest person in Asia.  As per the latest Bloomberg Billionaires Index stats.

Gautam Adani is now one of the top 10 wealthiest people in the world and has a net worth of $88.5 billion, which is roughly $600 million more than Mukesh Ambani's net worth.

Mukesh Ambani ranked first in the list of the wealthiest person in India and Asia in November 2021, with Gautam Adani trailing him by about $2.2 billion.
