They are at the boundary of Lane and Deschutes counties

The three peaks are the third-, fourth-, and fifth-highest in Oregon

The Sisters are now known as:

• South Sister: 10,363 ft (3,158.5 m)
  
• Middle Sister: 10,052 ft (3,063.7 m)
• North Sister: 10,090 ft (3,075.3 m)
