Explanation

The Kushan tribe originally settled in Northwest China.

They were part of the Yuezhi confederation, a group of tribes.

The Yuezhi migrated from the Chinese borderlands, specifically modern Gansu and Xinjiang.

After their migration, they established the Kushan Empire in regions including Northwest India, Afghanistan, and parts of Central Asia.
