The UN General Assembly elected the following 5 countries as non-permanent members for 2025-26

1. Pakistan

2. Somalia

3. Panama

4. Denmark

5. Greece

The above mentioned countries will replace the following 5 nations 

1. Japan

2. Malta

3. Mozambique

4. Ecuador

5. Switzerland 

Starting term: 1 January 2025

Ending term: 31 December 2026
