A recent goal of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is to promote modest growth: 

Global growth

The IMF projects that the world economy will grow at 3.2% in 2024 and 2025, which is the same pace as in 2023.

This is below the historical average of 3.8% from 2000–2019.
