Explanation

Jamal Khashoggi was a Saudi Arabian journalist and crime reporter who was killed in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey, on October 2, 2018. 

He was a prominent critic of the Saudi government.

He had been living in exile in the United States before his murder. 

Khashoggi wrote for The Washington Post.

He was known for his investigative reporting on corruption and human rights abuses in Saudi Arabia.
