Use of At and In (For places)

At is used for small places. (villages, cities and towns)

In is used for large places and big cities, countries etc.

When both small and large places are used in a single sentence we should prefer small first and large second.

For example: He was born at Baluchistan in Pakistan.

For example: He was born at Pakistan in Asia.

When the name of a village is not mentioned then we should use in not at.

For example: He father lives in a village. (correct sentence)

For example: My brother lives at Daharowal. (correct sentence)
