Explanation

• Takbirah al Ihram, also known as the "First Takbir", is the initial declaration of "Allahu Akbar" (الله أكبر) that marks the beginning of the Islamic prayer (Salah).
• It is called Takbirah al Ihram because it is the threshold between the state of not praying and entering into the prayer.
