Explanation

Certain words when used in “Active Voice”  are not followed by any preposition.

“Accompany, affect, consider, compromise, emphasize, resemble, ensure, attack, invade, order, reach, describe, discuss, tell” etc.

He resembles his father means وہ اپنے والد سے مشابہت رکھتا ہے
