Explanation

Meeqat are the principal boundary points of the area within which Muslim pilgrims on the Hajj must be in the state of ihrām 

Meeqat is an Arabic term denoting a 'stated place'

Pilgrims are obligated to wear Ihram and recite Talbiyah when crossing the station of Miqat.

The stations are:

• Dhul Hulayfah,
• Al-Juhfah,
• Qarn al-Manazil,
• Dhat Irq 
• Yalamlam.
