Explanation

Hazrat Umar was assassinated by the Persian slave Abu Lulua Firuz.

He was martyred on 24 A.H 1st Muharram at the age of 60-61 years.

He was the second Rashidun caliph, ruling from 13 to 24 Hijri.

The wife of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Hazrat Hafsah (رضہ) was the daughter of Umar Farooq (R.A).
