The Battle of Tabuk, also known as Ghazwa e Tabuk.

was the last military expedition led by Muhammad before his death in 632.

According to al-Mas'udi, the Prophet (s)'s ghazwas were 26, but some people took their number to be 27. 

Prophet ( ﷺ) set out for Tabuk, appointing Ali al-Murtaza as his caliph to administer Madinah.

According to Rajab 9 AH, the Holy Prophet ( ﷺ) embarked on this journey on Thursday, 630 AD, according to all historians.
