Explanation

The keyboard shortcut Ctrl + M in Microsoft Word indents a paragraph: 

If a paragraph is selected, pressing Ctrl + M will indent the entire paragraph and push it to the right.

You can use Ctrl + M multiple times to increase the level of indentation
