Explanation

The Ministry of Narcotics Control (MNC) was established in 1989

The Ministry of Narcotics Control was given the status of a full-fledged ministry in 2002.

It was converted into a department of Interior Ministry in 2013 but was later on re-instated as a Ministry in 2017.
