Explanation

The Federal Shariat Court of Pakistan is established under Chapter 3A of the Constitution of Pakistan

Under Articles 203A to 203J. 

The Federal Shariat Court was established in 1980 through the Eighth Amendment to the Constitution of Pakistan.

 Its primary function is to examine and determine whether any law or provision is "repugnant to the injunctions of Islam" as laid down in the Quran and Sunnah.

The Court consists of eight Muslim judges, including the Chief Justice.

Who are appointed by the President of Pakistan after consulting the Chief Justice of Pakistan and the Governor of the province concerned.

 The Court's decisions are final and cannot be appealed in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
