Explanation

The Council of Common Interests (CCI) in Pakistan consists of seven members, including the Prime Minister as the chairperson, four provincial Chief Ministers, and three members from the federal government.

It addresses inter-provincial and federal-provincial matters.

President Dr Arif Alvi on May 13, 2022 approved the reconstitution of the Council of Common Interests (CCI) under Article 153 of the Constitution, which would be headed by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.
