Explanation

The Pakistan Council of Scientific & Industrial Research (PCSIR) was established in Karachi in 1953.

It has also established laboratories in Lahore, Peshawar, and Sialkot.

Its head office is located in Islamabad

Since 1973, it is functioning under the Act of Parliament, which was amended in 1984.
