Hazrat Ali (RA) belonged to the tribe Quraish and the family of Bani Hashim in Makah.

Hazrat Ali is also known as Abu Turab.

Title: Lion of Allah means Asadullah.

He was born In the Holy Kabah in Mecca on Friday, 13th Rajab 23 BH.

He (RA) was the son of Hazrat Abu Talib (RA) the uncle of the Holy Prophet (SAW)

Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A)  was a cousin and son-in-law of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.

Hazrat Ali ibn Abi Talib (R.A) ruled as the fourth caliph from 656 until his Shahadat in 661.
