Explanation

Pakistan Peoples Party won the 2008 election with 10,666,548 votes

General elections were held in Pakistan on 18 February 2008 to elect members of the 13th National Assembly and the four Provincial Assemblies.

 Three parties stated they would boycott such elections, fearing that they would not be free and fair:

Jamaat-e-Islami 

Tehreek-i-Insaaf.
