• Chromite from Zhob Valley, Quetta District, Balochistan Region, Pakistan.
• In Pakistan, Chromite was first discovered by Vredenburg (1901).
•  the subsequent mining began in 1903 in Khanozai, Zhob district.
• By 1915, the mining stretched to the Sra-Salawat area, 29 km south of Muslimbagh.
• At present, chromite is mined in Baluchistan and Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa
