Explanation

Mahavira, also known as Vardhamana, is traditionally regarded as the founder of Jainism, though he was the 24th Tirthankara in Jain tradition.

He reorganized and spread the existing teachings, establishing Jainism as a major religious movement in 6th century BCE India.
