This includes roads, railways, and ports to improve connectivity between China and Pakistan.

The China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) is a series of energy and infrastructure projects, some of which connect China’s Xinjiang to Gwadar.

Initiated in mid-2013 and formally launched in April 2015.

CPEC is generally described as a $46 billion package of Chinese aid.
