President Asif Ali Zardari posthumously awarded former prime minister Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto with Nishan-e-Pakistan in recognition of his services in the field of public service.

Awarded on 23 March 2025

His daughter Sanam Bhutto received the award.

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a Pakistani politician & founder of Pakistan People's Party (PPP).

He became ninth prime minister of Pakistan from 1973 to 1977.

He was executed on 4 April 1946.
