Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai invented and played the Tamboora, a stringed musical instrument.

It is closely associated with his poetry and Sufi music in Sindh.

Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai, was a Sindhi Sufi mystic, and poet.

He is widely considered to be the greatest poet of the Sindhi language.
