The first session of the first Constituent Assembly of Pakistan was held on 10th August 1947 at Sindh Assembly Building Karachi.

The Constituent Assembly of Pakistan was dissolved on October 24, 1954 by Governor General Malik Ghulam Muhammad.
The first Speaker/President of the National Assembly of Pakistan, Muhammad Ali Jinnah.
Elected unanimously by the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on 11 August 1947.
He served from 11 August until his death on 11 September 1948.
