Section-7

Power to requisition property.—(1)

A Provincial Government, deputy commissioner, political agent or head of district administration, by whatever name called, shall, upon a request made in this behalf by the Commission, requisition a vehicle, vessel or other means of transportation as is needed or is likely to be needed for the purpose of transporting to and from any polling station ballot boxes or other election material or any officer or other person engaged for the performance of any duty in connection with an election.

(1) ایک صوبائی حکومت، ڈپٹی کمشنر، پولیٹیکل ایجنٹ یا ضلعی انتظامیہ کا سربراہ، خواہ کسی بھی نام سے پکارا جائے، کمیشن کی طرف سے اس مقصد کے لیے کی گئی درخواست پر، ایسی گاڑی، جہاز یا دیگر نقل و حمل کے ذرائع کو حاصل کرے گا، جو کسی پولنگ اسٹیشن پر یا وہاں سے بیلٹ بکس، دیگر انتخابی مواد یا کسی افسر یا ایسے کسی شخص کو، جو کسی انتخاب سے متعلق کوئی ذمہ داری انجام دے رہا ہو، لے جانے کے لیے درکار ہوں یا درکار ہو سکتے ہوں۔
