Explanation

According to ASF Act 1975, the Functions of ASF:

1.      ensuring security of all airports

2.      ensuring the security of all structures (Government or non Government organizations within the limits of airports)

3.      ensuring the proper conduct of persons at airports and aerodromes

4.      ensuring security of aircraft passengers, baggage, cargo and mail within the limits of airports and aerodromes

5. general maintenance of law and order within the limits of airports
