Explanation

The One Unit Scheme was the reorganization of the provinces of Pakistan by the central Pakistani government .

It was led by Prime Minister Muhammad Ali Bogra on 22 November 1954 and passed on 30 September 1955 .

The One Unit program remained in effect until 1970 .

Finally, President General Yahya Khan imposed the Legal Framework Order to abolish it.
