| 'Abdullah ibn 'Amr ibn al-'As, a companion of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). He was born in 616 AD in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, and died in 683 AD in Egypt. He authored the "Al-Sahifah al-Sadiqah," the earliest known compilation of hadiths. He briefly served as the Governor of Egypt in January to February 664.
